An oasis in the silence of Sardinia

A long golden beach

The name Scivu comes from the sand slide that must be crossed to get to the beach. In this place you can hear a particular acoustic effect that can be appreciated in a cave located along the beach, where the sound of the sea made an echo between the rocks.

A splendid area like a suggestive desert oasis, a three-kilometer of fine golden sand, called ‘speaking’ cause of the sound that comes walking on it, only stopped by a small cliff.

A scenario composed by a crystal clear sea, dunes with junipers, mastic trees, gorse and sea lilies. Red rocks covered by the Mediterranean scrub, witch come down from the mountains to the sea.

In this magical place you can find our pastures, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub of Sardinia beaten by the mistral wind, rich of mineral salts they characterize the unmistakable flavor of the Scivu cheese.
